Evening all
A sunny and very warm day here so the shopping run was painless, if you exclude the debit coming off the card at checkout. |

Morning all
----------------------------------------Slice this beast up and hang in a canvas bag round your Neck . It might not cure the cold but at least people will keep clear of you and you wont pass the cold on Poor you Anne-lise This bug you have sound's pretty dire, making feel down and low, restricting your trips and your postcount is also reduced.. This sounds very much if I'm not mistaken Like " Man Flu " Of course its normally only us bloke's that suffer with it however females can contract a minor form of the ailment but as medical science has so far found no cure you will have to do as us fellers do Endure This was Just taken in the garden 10 mins ago Comfry or KnitBone This will Cure everything Applied as a Poltice to the ailing part....... poltices seem top of the list Onions ,Garlic & Mustard ... Bone fractures to Bronchial troubles all CURED Maybe the point is How did you catch it I think its only flared up since you went prancing in the surf So its getting your feet wet that is the cause .Doesnt matter what the so called experts say. Trust me A swim in the North sea isn't counteracted by a Mediterranean beach vacation PS Its not any use you Hrumphing and kicking the furniture Merle> Man Flu it seems to me isn't treated with the gravity it deserves ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Jul 16, 2011 7:48:20 AM] |

@ don den: Thank you! Finally some comfort from you tough lot of Edwardians!
That's one big onion - you Brits and your gardens - you just know that little game. Nah, I shall not wear it around my neck to keep people away. My eyes water already. In fact I discourage people from coming here and don't go to them because of the bugs, and also because I prefer curling up in solitude when ill - often when I'm well as well, in fact. Yes, I know everything is worse for men, so I cannot begin to imagine what my "Man Flue" would feel like in a man ..... I know the Comfry. Must spruce up ice cubes a lot, but hard to get loaded in Scribes machine, I guess .... If allowed it would have conquered the garden, I had to leave, entirely. The village natives praised it and cut up the root and immersed it into akvavit (Brøndum to be precise) and rubbed everybody everywhere with the potion - I think their faith in that weed would be big enough to make broken bones (KnitBone? knit them together?) heal. Personally, I would rather drink the Brøndum ... but have made do with Norwegian Linie Akvavit (which I bought on sale some weeks ago for never having tasted it - good it was on sale, because it was disappointing - sorry Norway - to this Viking spoiled by native akvavits). Don den, the North Sea is not to be blamed. The Mallorca pool or the Mediterranean, perhaps. Or even being fenced in on an Airbus ..... beware Guitar Man ..... Most of my travel companions are down with this one, too. Nevertheless - I think my post count it decent for the time being - I planned a Trek launching today - are you in for a bit Wishbone? - and even got meself a nifty Human Proteome Folding Phase 2 badge just to prove that not all is talk, talk, talk - but Rosie Smelling of Wet Dogs? Eh ... ? You don't mean Fresh Wet Dogs as in a New Dog? Do you? - you can have women and cakes and strawberries for fun, but there is nothing as great as a Vuffelivov by Shubidua |
