All other uploads are working fine, just this WU seems to be stuck for about 1 day:
----------------------------------------3095: 02-Jul-2010 07:17:32 (low) [World Community Grid] Started upload of E200016_243_A.15.C12H11NSi2.44.set1d06_1_4 Maybe a result of the recent upload problem or is there something wrong on my side ? Thank you [Edit 2 times, last edit by WBT112 at Jul 9, 2010 5:08:18 AM] |

It's a transient condition. The file-lock will unlock automatically on the server and after the backoff of 2:23 hours has expired a new upload will be tried. If continuing to fail, post again.

Still happening... Maybe a problem with the Fileserver and this WU ? My wingman also didn't report this one. |

Since your first post my client successfully uploaded 6 more to Harvard. The locked file handle should really auto-reset. Maybe because of the new three-way handle, WCG > Client > Harvard > WCG in the upload and reporting cycle, something is not synching.
----------------------------------------Please be patient... the techs will be in in about 3 hours and do let us know if it goes away. In that, a boot of computer and modem often does wonders, but fear here this makes no difference.

Time, to increase the cache to prevent the 'Not requesting any tasks' feature. Just found it allready on one box. |

Indeed that infamous cores times 2 would soon cause downloads requests to get suspended. That happens then for a quad after 8 finished results as the small files upload fine... have 2 now, that just wont start, not even the first byte.

It's a standard reply... if the client cannot establish connection with the WCG site, the client tries to verify if the internet is at all accessible. For most it's google, for those with the originally clean installed WCG custom client it's www.ibm.com.

I never noticed that error. Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention to the other messages around these:

I'm having trouble only with the largest (9 MB) files. The little ones upload fine.
