If you set the new setting discussed here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,30182 Then instead of being limited to 1 task only, you will be able to get the normal beta setting of 1 task per core. |

For those not feeble of heart or mind... set the BOINC data_dir to a RAMDisk and let the program mirror the content to HD on shutdown or on request. Could be a major cycle saver during CEP2 crunching.
