Had a look at the dmt tool loads of download sites available none mention my router and to be honest the jargen goes way, way over my head. Trial and error, a little searching and found that the 8.07 version worked with the innards of my adsl2+ router. The jargon is easily understood. For that Prof Google is 24/7 ready to answer any question there is. Now that I've got the keep-alive routine worked out on Linux, the overall network speed has climbed mountains. Pings to router and any other device on the wlan is < 0.1ms. WCG exchanges are blazing from the start, without the "wake up, where's that router again?" |

Looks like the WCG has still got serious server communication proplems.
I am no longer able to reporte completed tasks or get new tasks in a timely manor, so I run out of work regularly. Non WCG projects get new work. Maybe if you add a few extra log flags to the cc_config.xml file, we can diagnose what it is that's falling over. Please follow the linked post and insert the 3rd and 4th line into a prexisting cc_config.xml in the BOINC data_dir (pathi in message log) or create the file per the example given. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/...ead,29103_offset,0#284686
I truly have none whatsoever and achieve high speed, so it's maybe ISP/Proxy/Firewall related? Port 80, 443, 8080 are best full open, outwards. Inwards you seem to be getting work per your log. ttyl --//-- |

I never had this Issue before and running BOINC since several Years now, so just trying to find a Hook to step in deeper. any Ideas are welcome.   |

Ah, yes thanks, skgiven, as knreed did not correct the <options> header to <log_flags> in his post. :)

Added the log flags to the cc_config.xml file and re-read them on Boinc:

In transfer tab select a file and hit "Retry Now".
