Due to an increase in the backlog of results for CMD2, we've reduced the feeder priority for this project to allow the backend processing for results to catch up. Users with only CMD2 selected should be able to continue to get CMD2 work units, but users with multiple projects selected will see a reduction in the number of CMD2 work units downloaded.

Out of interest how many results are backlogged & how long will it take to clear?

If going by the graal charts, it could be substantial. They show only portions indexed between 1750-1827 and we're crunching in the 2025-2050 batch range. The burden on WCG to back up the work [WCG do retain a copy of everything anyway] without open upload channels to France.

Thanks for information. I hope for everyone involved they can open the upload gates in France soon.

I had definitely noted the slowdown in the batch number advances.
This is definitely disappointing to hear for those of us with direct interest. Hopefully we will be able to continue the homestretch drive soon. I am 100% HCMD2 and will continue to be so. |

I've updated the original known issues post. We have disabled this project to prevent an overload of completed batches on the IBM servers until we are able to resume sending these to the CMD2 research servers. We have no estimate currently for when the project will be restored to it's normal status.

Thanks for update. When the servers come back online how much data is there to transfer to the CMD2 servers & how long will it take to transfer?

Batch results for this project tend to be quite large and it's a substantial number of batches in backlog. Once the outage is resolved, it will take at least several days to a week catch up on sending result batches.
