Re: Good morning team.

Good morning everyone. smile
[Does anyone know how they (the averages) are calculated?

RTS48, I can only tell you how I calculate my averages. I use Libre Office spreadsheet on which I use a simple running total i.e. =B185+C186 (which is Total + Daily Value. From the running total I can get weekly avg, =SUM(C178:C184)/7, 30 day (monthly) =SUM(C153:C184)/30, then 90 day, half year (use 180 days) and then Annual which is a 365 day avg. Currently it occupies about 400kb disk space.

I hope that is what you were asking. smile

Good morning team.

The weather cant make its mind up in the North East. One minute sunny, next cloudy and there is quite a bit of wind too.

My workstations have had a short break from 3D rendering and have made up some lost ground:

Re: Good morning team.

Got up this morning no internet or phone, had been out since 1 am and did not return until 11 am. Took me a while to find the help line number to be informed the exchange was out. Other than it's very windy.

Seeing this reminds that a few years ago BT disconnected my internet connection because of not being able to take payment, only the 1 payment so no huge debt, then emailed me to let me know. Erm, not quite sure how they thought I would see that email.

Thanks Domonijo

What I really wanted to know was how does BOINC calculate the average work done shown on the projects tab in BOINC Manager. The figure does not seem to have any mathematical relationship with an average of the last 7 days as reported in BOINC Synergy. I'm sure it is a moving average of sorts but without the base (days) divider it makes little sense.

Re: Good morning team.

Ahhhh that average, possibly it is similar to sucking your finger, then sticking finger out to find the direction the wind is coming from. wink biggrin

Re: Good morning team.

Good Afternoon All. I've just passed 67 years crunching for team UK and if my calculations are correct I will get my Diamond 5 for OET tonight.

Soggy with rain here in Solihull! Cold too! Yuk!
