Help Stop TB crunching chart will come here, when there's data to plot :)). For now, 15:13 hours is the mean runtime for the first 240 validated results.
----------------------------------------Update: And there's data to plot from 2 stats periods ;) The graphs size with the number of records except the main which is capped at 365 days (really 53 weeks to show a full year with an x-axis that shows the begin and end date of the graphed period.). The minis at bottom will build for as long as the project lasts, for now assumed to be 2 years [just to get a progress indicator going, and we love those as accurate as can be suckled from the fat thumb ;P] P.S. Hope this one does update properly in the OP [short link https://bit.ly/WCGHST1 ] [Edit 1 times, last edit by SekeRob* at Mar 25, 2016 2:56:10 PM] |

And we have a chart. Just discovered that the front page slides is truly the returned results, not the validated, which were 501 this morning, which extrapolates to 1006 for the second full day, a still very small part of the total shown at https://bit.ly/WCGQLK1
----------------------------------------(There's 100 per 30 minutes loaded onto the hopper, so it looks to be an elbow fight to get to bronze at this time, if that's your fancy) Edit: And yes I know some footed info on the PC chart is from outer space... will get fixed, all by itself. The Chart is taking shape quite nicely. It's intersting to see the impact of the mix of different run-lengths on the graphs.

ECD still fluctuating from 600-700d...so lets say a 2y project on WCG with this power of WCG!
----------------------------------------but as the time progress & Moore law comes into play, lets say a 1,5y is the final day! unless new BETAs change sthg... ;) |

... for now assumed to be 2 years [just to get a progress indicator going, @KLIK: Is it really so hard to understand what Rob has written in his opening post? |

Moore's law applies to new processors. Think it's safe to assume that Moore's law will be negligible as most people who run the project will be existing users using existing hardware.

forget about the GHz...just check the number of: 1. transistors 2. FLOPs & you'll find that Moore law is still holding! http://www.vetta.org/2009/12/tick-tock-tick-tock-bing/ Moore's law applies to new processors. Think it's safe to assume that Moore's law will be negligible as most people who run the project will be existing users using existing hardware. nope! last year I run only 1x X3050 in Croatia...within a year: 1. upgraded it to X3230, which is 4cores proc! 2. got another Q6600...upgraded it to Q9550S...from 2 to 4cores! 3. got another E8200...upgraded it to X3360...from a 2 to 4cores! 4. got another Q6550...upgraded it to X3360...from 2 to 4cores! 5. got newer (fastest) procs for my T60, T61 & Dell laptops... 6. even found a way to get BOINC working inside SIEMENS corp on i5...4core proc! 7. got several GPUs working on a SETi@home... 8. just playing around with R Pi 0 now... so, nothing is stable...everything is fluctuating! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by KLiK at Apr 9, 2016 10:09:07 AM] |

The Chart is taking shape quite nicely. It's intersting to see the impact of the mix of different run-lengths on the graphs. More shape taking, unfortunately not in the upward trend cycle, with a projection of below 4000 results validating today. As for the Moore's Law tangent, kindly take that discussion to the Chat Room, out of this thread! There's an untranslatable German word for how *not* applicable to WCG.
