Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

@jayrope thanks for confirming that I am not the only person. I wanted to change my projects before I went off to work, because I dont think I would be able to fill on enough HST units to keep going till I get home

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Greetings everyone. We are currently rebooting the storage cluster at the moment. It is the main issue on why everything is down. It does have redundancy in case some of the servers go down. However all the servers for that cluster went down. We are still in the process of bringing those up......

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Back in the day, SFS was really nice - as long as it worked. When it didn't, it was a royal pain that took lots of time to fix. Whatever the current incantation is called, it seems little has changed. My sympathies Keith.

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

Hi
Hoping that things are sorted soon!! I'm now out of WU's :-(

Any chance of an update to the current status and if any WU's will be uploaded or downloaded this evening (UK time), or will it likely be Monday before we're up and running again?

Good luck in fixing it all.

Regards,

Neil.

If you had prefixed the line with a 'Why,' I'd understand the post, but asking the question, when the answer was already given by uplinger is puzzling.

BTW, the admin wrote over at WCG's Facebook "Read before commenting". Can't agree more.

Re: Unplanned website outage 2017-06-25.

4.5 hours ago Keith said "We are currently rebooting the storage cluster..".
Not knowing exactly what that entails, I wonder how long it should take?

It's 22h00 where I am and I'm heading for bed.
Hopefully the issues will be resolved in the next 7 to 8 hours.

Good Luck to the technical team and thank you for your dedication over the weekend.
