Re: Loss of Graphics following save...

Yo VAIO GRX616, et. al.,

I've installed DirectX 9c, rebooted, same effect = no graphics. Thought the DX might fix it, didn't crying

I DO have a Matrox card in one W2K machine, graphics work w/ FAAH...
W2K machine, NVIDIA RIVA drivers same: graphics work...
Both sets of drivers are manufactuer provided.

2 W2K machines with ATI cards: 1 w/ MS drivers, 1 w/ ATI provided drivers:
both error on the graphics :: it's the only thing I can come up with in-common.

I have another W2K machine with an Intel board (onboard Cirrus Logic video chips) that is currently crunching a PROTEOME unit and shows graphics fine (for how low-end it is) - if/when it gets a FAAH unit - I'll check it out.

Man! I sure hate clogging up this thread with all this *%$%^#! video stuff sad

Re: Loss of Graphics following save...

Dear seawizard:

Lets move the rest of this to the support emails. Use the contact-us link on the web pages.

Perhaps you can send an email which answers these:

1. Is the graphics problem only on machines that had a prior UD grid.org install?

2. Does the problem happen in both the screen saver and the application window of the agent?

3. Can you send a screen capture of what that application window looks like?

4. Include the time at which you captured the screen and send us your Device ID number (on the preferences window).

Thank you.
