Cherries - you all amazed me with your creativity for my challenge! That fashion board really did inspire ya'll!

So...with the help of Random.org, the lucky winner of 1000 points goes to HsBlair! Congrats!!!

Hello cherries!! So if you guessed FASHION CHALLENGE, you are RIGHT! I used to host that challenge from 2012 until last December. I'd find inspiring pieces on Pinterest, and even pulled some stuff out of my closet that I thought would work in the scrappy world. So, without further ado....the NSD 2017 Fashion Challenge!

With it being NSD, I felt I'd offer alot more variety by finding several pieces that caught my eye and creating my OWN Fashion Board so to speak!


Check out the patterns and colors. Lots to choose from!

And here is my sample:


I was inspired by the small polka dots, and the yellow, with the little blue flowers from the nails and the charcoal gray and teal too. I even used some argyle pattern paper!! I INKED my edges to make the patterns stand out more and I used white BUTTONS in the center of my flowers.

And in honor of NSD, Sketch N Scrap has an exclusive sketch just for today:



So, here are the RULES:

1. Use the Fashion Board for inspiration. Go with the colors, patterns, the details, whatever catches your eye. Just tell me how you were inspired!
2. You MUST INK the edges of your papers.
3. You MUST use at LEAST 3 buttons. Any color/shape/size.
4. You may COMBINE with the 25 items list and Paper Pad Challenge. But NO OTHER NSD CHALLENGE
5. ONE entry per person.
6. DUE Friday, May 12th, 11:59PM, EST.
7. Please add your project to theNSD Gallery, and post here in my thread too.
8. Layouts only. Digi, Paper, Hybrid. Sorry card gals.
9. BONUS: If you use the above SNS sketch, I'll toss in some extra sprinkles!

Great challenge. I was inspired by your pop of sunny yellow, the polka dots and the gray, blue, black and white colors from your fashion board.  This layout is for my grandson's first year calendar. He should be arriving any day!

Loved this challenge, Thank You!
When I first saw the images I was immediately drawn to the nails, I used paper to replicate the 5 nails, one in a different color w/florals. I used light grey polka dot background, dark grey buttons, chipboard photo corners and inked my edges. My bottom strip is fashion themed and pulls in the mustard like the dress on the bottom of the inspiration pics.

I am in on this one!!!!  I found the photos I want to use and have pulled the papers.

May not completely qualify on the extra points for the sketch but the inspiration is fantastic Brandy!  LOL, I always found this challenge to be difficult for me.  Not this time!!!!!
