2 more hints

Post by traveler »

These 2 hints are completely unrelated.

1. Do you have a collection that you have a lot of, including full size papers, that is pretty but not terribly useful? Perhaps you impulse purchased it or won it. Here is one that I have, so pretty but too busy to actually scrap with much.

2. I often use souvenirs and other real ephemera on my layouts, things like coins menus, postage stamps, train tickets etc. Just think about if you have something like that. Here are a few that I have saved.

Guilty on the 1st one! Have a few of those for sure.

And I do like to keep real ephemera. It's a drawer in my scrap room. :)

Thanks for the hints!

I am very particular about what I buy anymore. Always find Graphic45 mostly too busy for me.

Oh, yes. Always collecting tickets, maps, and sometimes just info I want to include on a layout. Recently just finished a big map of Ireland I wanted to include in my album. It was a puzzle trying to figure out what to do!

Oh yes lol I have a collection that I'm not sure how to use, but I ALSO have tons of ephemera and found objects! I randomly include these things in my scrapbook sometimes - I have a tote full in the shed that I need to get to sometime! 😂
Looking forward to your challenge!

First thing I thought of is Graphic 45. I have so much of it cause it's so pretty but have a hard time using it on layouts!

And yes, have lots of real momentos to use on layouts!

Sigh. That would be pretty much all my G45 and Stamperia collections. Gonna close my eyes and just pick one and find my box of souvenir ephemera. Wonder what we're gonna do...............

Yes for me for both of them. In fact I just was digging for paper today and a receipt for Disney New Year ears fell out, for 2019!!

Yes to #1. Especially (mostly) G45. I’ve seen beautiful non-scrapbook projects made with it but I’ve always had trouble using it.

Yes to #2. I have boxes and boxes of real life ephemera and I use it when I remember to look for it. My favorite pieces of ephemera I ever used on a lo was a straw wrapper from a family favorite restaurant, an old library card, and a mockup illustration from my junior year of high school yearbook that I had worked on.

Who hasn't made impulse purchases???  Yes, I believe I have some of that paper hanging around that I'll probably never use otherwise.  As for ephemera..... I have tons, since I'm a collector of vintage stuff.   😍
