Got some tasks. First time a beta task fails on my GTX1080 unfortunately: BETA_ OPNG_ 0021013_ 00080_ 0--

I'm stopping this beta test at the moment. We are getting lots of errors and I need to investigate before sending out the rest of the results.

Got 4 of those on my MacBbook Pro and all ended up within a couple of minutes with a computation error...

On 2 machines with an AMD card (R3 and HD 7770) the BETA's are running OK, but on the Intel iGPU 4400 the tasks are treated as CPU-jobs instead of GPU as I mentioned before in the former BETA-thread with a resend.

On all 3 of my windows 10, there are huge GPU slowdown problem from CPU priority problem, when 100% of CPU tasks is on Sidock CPU only project.
100% of all CPU threads use SIDock, they have idle process, normal thread priority. This open pandemics GPU beta tasks use below normal process, idle thread priority. The idle process normal thread priority have higher priority then this GPU task below normal process idle thread priority. Search the internet, Windows process thread priority. This idle thread priority can be seen and have priority changed using a downloadable tool called Process hacker. A normal thread priority for GPU tasks got GPU tasks to go faster while at 100% CPU usage, until it completes to have to repeat changing thread priority for next tasks. It would be nice to have thread priority for GPU tasks set to normal, not idle, and keep process priority to below normal. Or, I have to reduce BOINC CPU threads to like 95% to give enough CPU for GPU. The GPU tasks does complete without error when I give it enough CPU. Would be nice if GPU tasks stop using idle priority and just have it below normal process priority, normal thread priority. |

I don't know if this is related but the timing matches. I got several of these on both my rigs, one with a nVidia 1060 the other with a Quadro K2000. The 1060 has already finished what it snagged and the quadro is getting there. Neither seems to show issues with the units themselves but I'm now getting messages in BOINC saying "Your current settings do not allow tasks from this project. To fix this, you can change Project Preferences on the project's web site." which I wasn't getting last night before I got any beta units. I haven't changed the settings since last night. I hope this proves useful.
